Testing Methodology

01

HPLC Analysis

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography

HPLC is the gold standard for peptide purity analysis. This technique separates the peptide from any impurities, allowing precise quantification of the active compound relative to total content. Our minimum purity threshold is 98%, with most products exceeding 99%.

The resulting chromatogram provides a visual representation of purity, with a single dominant peak indicating high-purity product.

02

Mass Spectrometry

LC-MS Identity Verification

Mass spectrometry confirms the molecular identity of each peptide by measuring its molecular weight with extreme precision. The observed mass is compared against the theoretical mass calculated from the amino acid sequence.

This analysis ensures that the peptide you receive is the exact compound specified, not a related molecule or degradation product.

03

Certificate of Analysis

Batch-Specific Documentation

Each Certificate of Analysis documents the complete testing results for a specific production batch, including purity percentage, identity confirmation, physical appearance, and the testing laboratory's information.

COAs provide full traceability from manufacturing through testing and are available for download on each product page and in our searchable library below.

How to Read a Certificate of Analysis

A Certificate of Analysis is a quality document issued by a testing laboratory that confirms a product batch meets specified quality standards.

Batch/Lot Number

A unique identifier linking the COA to a specific production run. This ensures traceability.

Purity (%)

Determined via HPLC. Represents the percentage of the target peptide relative to all detected compounds. Our standard is ≥98%.

Molecular Weight (Observed vs. Theoretical)

Measured via mass spectrometry. A close match between observed and theoretical MW confirms correct molecular identity.

Appearance

Visual and physical characteristics of the product (e.g., white lyophilized powder).

Testing Laboratory

The independent third-party lab that performed the analysis.
